
UN Watch is a non-governmental organization that monitors the United Nations according to the principles of its charter and promotes human rights for all. Headquartered in Geneva, UN Watch is a leading advocate for UN reform, and speaks out for victims around the world, supporting the rights of women, protecting freedom of speech and freedom of religion, and combating racism and anti-Semitism. UN Watch testifies before UN bodies on behalf of broad NGO coalitions. UN Watch is regularly quoted by major media organizations, including The Economist, The New York Times and Le Monde, and has featured on CNN, BBC, and Al Jazeera. UN Watch was founded in 1993 by the late civil rights leader Morris B. Abram, and is affiliated with the American Jewish Committee. Chaired by Ambassador Alfred H. Moses, UN Watch holds NGO accreditation to ECOSOC and UNDPI.
