Philippe Robinet is the President and Director of Kero editions. Previously he was the publisher, cofounder and director of Oh ! Editions and a publisher at a daily newspaper, Philippe Robinet was recognized as “Chevalier des Arts et Lettres”, a prestigious French recognition of significant contributions to the fields of art and literature.

Robinet co-created Oh! Editions in 2002 to publish books on issues which resonate particularly strongly in people’s hearts and minds. Books that help us, as readers, citizens or even political leaders to understand what is truly at stake in our society; books that sometimes lead to deep social change.

He has published many testimonies of women activists from all over the world, such as: In the name of honor by Mukhtar Mai , about a woman sentenced to rape by a court;  I Sampat Pal, warrior in a pink sari, by Sampat Pal, about the Indian Gulabi Gang; Mutilated by Khady, denouncing the practice of excision; Burned alive by Souad, about the crimes of honor committed against women;  Married by force,about forced marriages; For sale Mariana, aged 15 by Iana Matei, about forced prostitution in Europe;  Slumgirl dreaming by Rubina Ali, about the movie Slumdog Millionaire’s  young stars and Blasphemy by Asia Bibi and Anne-Isabelle Tollet, about a Christian mother of 5 who was sentenced to death by hanging.

Many of these books have been recognized by numerous awards. Over the last 9 years, 80% of the titles have been ranked as bestsellers and 75% have been widely translated.
