Geneva Summit Speaker - Tamara Suju

Tamara Sujú Roa earned her Law Degree at Universidad Católica Andres Bello, Caracas, Venezuela. Tamara is an activist and human rights defender. She is the founder of FUNDAPRES.O.S., a foundation that brings aid to prisons throughout Venezuela. She is also President of the NGO Nueva Conciencia Nacional (New National Concience) and Director of Fundación Damas de Blanco de Venezuela (Venezuela’s Ladies in White Foundation). Both organizations work to spread the values and principles of democracy, support the fight against totalitarianism and political persecution, and aid the victims of political persecution and prisoners.
